it started with a bath that didn't go well.
louise was anxious, I was frustrated and I realised I had barely scratched the surface of what good grooming actually meant.
so I started paying attention. I talked to groomers, asked about their experience, followed a behavioural grooming course (TCAP) and a zoocosmetology course, and slowly learned to really look at louise: the way her coat felt after a good rinse, the moment she finally relaxed during a brush, the small signs that told me she was comfortable, or that she wasn't.
grooming became the time I understood her best and once I started learning, I wanted to get it truly right: the ingredients, the technique, the way I handled her.
pelage is what I built from that. products I genuinely trust on her skin, methods that work with a dog's nature, not against it, and enough knowledge to help you feel confident doing the same.
